Health and Safety Awareness

Health and safety is important for any business and one of the key priorities it to ensure accidents and ill health is prevented. The law requires an employer, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of the employees, contractors, visitors and any member of the public. To ensure you have competent staff it is important to provide health and safety training, which will help employers to adhere to legal requirement and help staff to identify the hazards and control the risks in the workplace and understand what they should and should not be doing.

 Employers, self employed workers, managers, supervisors, employees.

What will you learn?

This course will provide you with the knowledge and understanding of key aspects to enable you to identify hazards and reduce the risk as far as reasonably practicable, to maintain and work in a safe working practice.

Course Duration

Half day (three hours) Maximum number of 15 candidates. This course is taught at one of our venues or delivered onsite.

Assessment and certification

This course is delivered by a qualified trainer. Candidates will be assessed continuously throughout the training and will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the course aims and objectives with a final assessment. Candidates will receive a certificate valid for 12 months and a workbook.
