This course is suitable for all staff as manual handling is required in all industries.

  • The principles of manual handling
  • Reducing back related injuries in the work place
  • Hazards, risks and risk assessments
  • Slips, trips and falls
  • Record keeping

Course Duration

Full Day  (six hours) Maximum number of 12 candidates. This course is often delivered onsite. 

Assessment and certification

This course is delivered by a qualified trainer. Candidates will be assessed continuously throughout the training and will be expected to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the course aims and objectives with a final assessment. Candidates will receive a certificate valid for 12 months and a workbook
